My mission for the day
To support the girls to get the whole partnership to understand the ethos of GirlsActive. The GirlsActive committees from six schools came together for an ‘Any questions?’ session which I chaired. The headteacher and chair of governors from each school attended along with two representatives for the local council and leisure services. I chaired a forum where the girls asked questions and discussed issues about what they want to change as well as enhance the profile of girls and women in sport, not only in their school but also their local community.
