Athletics Roles & Responsibilities:- Involved in athletics team management since 1974 - school, county, regional and national
- Team Official for GB Team at all major track and cross country championships including the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games
- Treasurer of Trafford AC for 10 years
- Representative of Trafford AC on the County Committee and previously on the Northern Area Track and Field and Cross Country Committees
Athletics Career:- Competed for Great Britain at 800m, 1500m and 3000m and for England at cross country
- Run three marathons - London, Sydney and New York
- Set UK W35 800m record
- Life member of Trafford AC
