Involvement with OCWK

Chris has taken part in the Loughborough Educational Camp in April 2008, the Male Athlete Get-Together in Leeds in September 2008 and the 'Eat for Success' Get-Together in October 2009.

He was awarded an 'On Camp with Kelly' Excellent Achievement Award in 2008 in recognition of his selection for the Aviva GB & NI Team for the IAAF World Junior Championships.

Performances in 2010

Chris won the bronze medal in the 800m at the BUCS Indoor Championships on 14 March.  Outdoors he finished second in the Scottish Championships on 18 July.


Performances in 2008

Chris has improved his personal best for 800m by over four seconds this season to 1:48.20, a qualifying time for the IAAF World Junior Championships.  He secured his selection for the World Juniors, where he finished sixth in his heat, by finishing third at the England Athletics Under 20 Championships. Chris started 2008 by winning the 800m silver medal at the England Athletics Under 20 Indoor Championships and also won the bronze medal outdoors at the British University Championships in a new personal best of 1:50.72.
