After starting her season late through injury Kerrie Harris finished sixth in the Senior Girls 800m at the English Schools.

Kerrie had an excellent year in 2007, improving her personal bests at 400m (58.0) and 800m (2:08.98) by nearly two seconds and her 1500m best by over 20 seconds (4:31.5). She won the 800m gold medals at the England Athletics Under 17 Championships at the UK Schools Games and took silver in the intermediate race at the English Schools. She was also a winner at the World Schools Cup in France and at the Schools Home International.

Introduction to Athletics


Kerrie started athletics because her older sister was a runner and she wanted to be like her. She started to take the sport seriously when she was 14.
