Introduction to AthleticsJess qualified for the English Schools Cross Country in 2004 and came 23rd. She enjoyed it so much that she joined the running club a couple of weeks later. In 2005 she had a good cross country season and realised that she had potential and could do even better if she took it a little more seriously.
Jess’s training group under coach Dave Turnbull includes European 800m bronze medallist Becky Lyne.
